The game feels quite easy so far but then again so did Generations using the Switchaxe so I'm not sure if that's actually reduced difficulty or if that's some sort of cumulative experience (every MH felt easier than the one before) or maybe even just being finally able to see WTF the bowgun is doing. Use foresight slash in the very moment before an enemy attacks and it will absorb the hit, right before you dash back in with your strike. I'm using a bowgun seriously for the first time (dabbled in it before but never got any use out of it), I think the damage numbers are the biggest benefit for the things since it's now much easier to tell how well different ammo types work. The i frames on foresight slash are from the moment you start moving back, to the moment your character swings back around for the slash. The shadows get much darker when HDR is turned off in the game, is that what's supposed to happen? I've set the image setting to HDR, the PS4's HDR setting is on automatic and it's reporting an HDR compatible display but the image looks dull, like the 3DS games in terms of color scheme. This is one of the reasons MHW Long Sword is popular among players. ago You need to Evade a move with Foresight Slash (youll here a little high pitched noise if you did it) and the attack where your Hunter moves closer must connect with the monster, then you can do the Spirit Roundslash.
