Like Darkrai and Shaymin before it, Arceus was not officially recognized by Nintendo until February 14, 2009, the year of its debut movie. While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, Arceus will change type when it is holding a Plate or type-specific Z-Crystal. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining PearlĪrceus ( Japanese: アルセウス Arceus) is a Normal-type Mythical Pokémon introduced in Generation IV.I'd like to see how I can improve with these. Pretty big difference when compared to the normal Toad, isn't it?įeedback would be appreciated. Version 2 - Rounded heads and edited arms. These were done because I felt that there wasn't very many sprites of these two that were as "mobile" as the Jump sprites allowed. Version 2 - Rounded head and slightly longer pants. Version 2 - Increased the gap between ears.Īgain, Fuusuke's sprites work good for short and comical characters, although I'm sure Strong Bad wouldn't be pleased to see himself so short. 's Doctor Nubs, someone I wanted to try spriting from the start. I basically had to draw Amy's right arm from scratch because Robin's sprite had it in a different position. I had to do a little bit of editing here, but I think I got it okay. Version 2 - Nothing except for a different shading style. I wanted to do a couple of sprites for characters from Total Drama College, his work, and knew that the brother and sister of Corey and Amy had good dynamics. Version 2 - Increased the size of the trenchcoat. I find that Luffy would work well for tall and skinny characters. I mainly did this to do more with Luffy's sprites since I had already downloaded the base. Version 2 - Rounded the helmet and increased the size of the face panel. This would be 's Asterisk, which I did mainly to see how well I could do the big helmet. Version 2 - Rounded the head, changed the medallion colour and colour of his hand.įuusuke is another short and comical character that is a good source of sprites. Hey, Sanji's sprites have big feet, so I figured it would work. You can blame me using Sanji's sprites for Coach Z on a fanart I saw of Homestar Runner characters dressed as One Piece characters, including Coach Z as Sanji.

Version 2 - Shading the shorts and slightly lengthened his ears. No-brainer, but I chose Luffy's sprites from a different One Piece game because I felt his Jump sprites were way too short for Olig. Version 2 - Added shading since I forgot in the previous version. I'm not as fussy with how Hax came out, but I think it's good for what it is. This sprite was used with 's human base, taking a normal-sized body and 2X-sized head. I felt Sakura's sprites worked best because she has a lot of fist-related moves. The female characters are hard to get good sprites with if you're looking for something specific, like a boxer. Version 2 - Rounded off the head and edited the arm. I didn't sprite anything past the first sprite, but believe me when I say this, her sprites are perfect for a Rabbid. Version 2 - Since I feel I did best on Barney's sprite, the only thing I changed was the shade of pants and a bit more shading.Īt the same time, Arale's sprites are good for characters that are short and comical. I'm really pleased with how Barney came out after I was done. Raoh's base is in my opinion the best I can get for big, muscular characters. Unless stated otherwise, each of these characters was done with a sprite base from Jump Ultimate Stars.

I don't know many of the characters, but I think they have great sprites to edit. Most spriters like to use Sonic or Megaman bases for their work, but I find myself like the Jump Ultimate Stars sprites to work with. I've been fooling around with sprites lately, just to see how well I am at this kind of thing.
